Story 001 - Qué compramos en el mercado?

Qué compramos en el mercado?

Qué compramos en el mercado?

No tenemos cebollas, jitomates, cebollitas, o brócoli.

Vamos al mercado pero comemos primero.

Pedimos dos ordenes de pho.

Nos gusta mucho el pho.

Luego llamamos a la familia si quiere algo.

Vamos a preparar algo para cenar en la noche.

En un mercado en Puebla

Most verbs here are with "nosotros".

Compramos, tenemos, vamos (we buy, we have, we go)
comemos, pedimos, llamamos (we eat, we ask for, we call)

Elisa and I are always going to the market to buy things. Some of the most common things we get are onions, tomatoes and green onions (cebollitas). One of my favorite vegetables to cook with recently is broccoli because they soak up all the juice when I pan-fry and steam them. I add a little garlic and salt and they are just as good as a savory snack.

Although, I was thinking of Mexican markets, Vietnamese pho noodle soup doesn't exist in Mexico (except for a few restaurants around Mexico City at the moment of writing this in 2022).
